These select experiments, which are a form of sketch for me, investigate how best to replicate texture, colours and the ‘tangibility’ of mould and decay by using fabrics, fibres, latex, varnish, wool, dye, paint, glue, crochet and hand tufting for a Euphony of Haptic Decay (2023). Works from the selected textile works series also contribute to the testing and trialling.
