Haptic Decay

This work was created as part of installation for Reading School of Art’s The Epilogue exhibition in May 2023. After observing how ‘woolly’ the texture of mould can be in Piss Microcosms I & II, I materially translated this concept using fibres. Tactile surfaces were formed in which the source idea transformed from an originally-abject thing into something that invites touch and interaction.
