This work was created as part of the installation, a Euphony of Haptic Decay (2023), for Reading School of Art’s The Epilogue exhibition in May 2023. After making Haptic Decay (2023) and fabricating the idea of an installation, it became clear that to fully immerse the viewer in the sound and tactility of the work, I needed to create an appropriate space. Take a sPew entices the viewer to give attention to their senses and just sit and be, or rather perhaps, to take a pew.
